Pimalaya
pimalaya.orgSince 2022 I lead Pimalaya, an open-source project funded by the NLnet foundation and the European Commission. It builds Rust tools for email, contacts and calendars, written from the standards up and tested against the providers people use. It is where my Rust and PIM experience comes from. Pimalaya ships no AI of its own, but every library and app is ready to be driven by AI: JSON output with its schemas, and documentation written for integrators and agents alike.
IMAP, SMTP, JMAP, CalDAV, CardDAV, OAuth and discovery, as libraries any runtime can drive.
An email client for the terminal, used worldwide and scriptable through its JSON output.
